If you’re weighing DialPhone vs Jive (now LogMeIn / GoTo Connect) for your business phone system in 2026, the choice usually comes down to three factors: real total cost over 36 months, whether AI receptionist is included or addon, and how the platform handles US/Canada cross-border seats.
Every competitor figure below is taken from the vendor’s own published pages and is listed with its source and check date at the end of this page. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, this page says so instead of estimating.
TL;DR: at a glance
- Best for existing Jive or GoTo customers inside a contract term, and buyers who want GoTo’s 250-participant video and built-in webinars: GoTo Connect
- Best for new deployments that want published per-user pricing rather than a quote: DialPhone
- Critical 2026 difference: Jive is a retired brand. The product you would actually buy is GoTo Connect, which publishes no prices at all, where DialPhone publishes every tier below Enterprise.

- Advanced ($34, annual): adds AI SMS drafting, Proactive Workflow Automation, integrations and a HIPAA BAA
- Ultra ($54, annual): adds advanced analytics

Jive (now LogMeIn / GoTo Connect)
Jive no longer exists as a separately sold product. It was acquired by LogMeIn in 2018 and is now GoTo Connect, so the only current pricing question is what GoTo Connect costs.
GoTo Connect publishes no prices. Its plans and pricing page lists Phone System, Customer Experience (CX), CX Complete and Contact Center, and every one carries a “Contact Sales” button rather than a figure. We previously stated that Jive customers see price increases of 15 to 25 percent at renewal. We cannot substantiate that from any GoTo source and have removed it; ask GoTo directly what your renewal looks like.
For the current feature-by-feature comparison against a live product rather than a retired brand, use DialPhone vs GoTo Connect. This page exists for buyers still searching the Jive name and does not repeat that comparison’s pricing detail.
The figure above counts subscription seats only, at Core annual pricing: 25 x $24 x 36 = $21,600. It excludes taxes and telecom fees, usage, hardware and add-ons such as the AI Receptionist. Model your own configuration with the VoIP TCO calculator.
Feature parity
Where GoTo Connect is the better fit
GoTo publishes 250-participant video, 1,000 shared toll-free minutes, international calling to 50+ countries and 24/7 support on every tier including the entry one, and offers built-in webinars on CX Complete. Existing Jive contracts carry across, so there is no migration cost for customers already inside the estate.
GoTo Connect’s limitation
No published pricing on any tier, and the Jive brand itself is retired, so documentation and community answers written against Jive may no longer match the product.
DialPhone’s limitation
DialPhone was founded in 2024, caps video at 200 participants against GoTo’s 250, has no webinar product, and charges $59 per month extra for its AI receptionist.
Where DialPhone is the better fit
DialPhone publishes every business-phone tier and every contact-center tier below Enterprise, so a new deployment can be priced without a sales call. For a live feature-by-feature comparison rather than a legacy-brand one, see DialPhone vs GoTo Connect.
DialPhone’s limitation
DialPhone was founded in 2024, caps video meetings at 200 participants against GoTo’s 250, offers no webinar product, and charges $59 per month on top of the seat price for its AI receptionist.
If you are an existing Jive customer
Choose Jive (now LogMeIn / GoTo Connect) if:
- You are inside a Jive or GoTo contract term that is not worth breaking
- You want 250-participant video meetings rather than DialPhone’s 200
- You need built-in webinars, which GoTo’s CX Complete includes and DialPhone does not offer
- You already administer other GoTo products and want one vendor relationship
When to pick DialPhone
Choose DialPhone if:
- You are starting a new deployment and want published prices rather than a quote
- You want an AI receptionist from the same vendor as your phone system (Smart Virtual Concierge, $59/month add-on)
- You want unlimited US and Canada calling in the base plan without an enterprise agreement
- You want a contractual 99.999% monthly uptime target with service credits (Terms section 6)
- You need a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (available on Advanced and higher)
What’s NOT in the comparison
Some features that don’t differ meaningfully between the two for SMB use cases:
- Mobile apps (both have iOS/Android)
- Standard VoIP features (call forwarding, voicemail, hold music)
- Number porting (both support; timelines depend on the losing carrier, number type and documentation)
If a comparison post tells you “DialPhone has voicemail and Jive (now LogMeIn / GoTo Connect) has voicemail”, yes, every vendor does. The differences that matter are above.
How we built this comparison
Competitor pricing, plan names and feature availability are taken from the vendor’s own current pricing, product, security and legal pages. Every figure used is listed with its source, publisher and check date in the Sources section of this page. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, this page says so rather than estimating one.
DialPhone figures come from the DialPhone pricing page and the Terms of Service. If you find a discrepancy, tell us and we will correct it.
Verdict
There is no automatic winner here. DialPhone fits teams that want business phone and contact center from one vendor with published per-seat pricing and an AI receptionist available as a paid add-on. Jive (now LogMeIn / GoTo Connect) fits teams that match its own strengths (legacy SMB VoIP brand absorbed by GoTo). Price both at your real seat count against each vendor’s current pricing page before deciding.
The honest test: run both through the TCO calculator at your actual seat count + use case. Whichever lands lower for your spec is the right answer.
