If you’re weighing DialPhone vs GoTo Connect for your business phone system in 2026, the choice usually comes down to three factors: real total cost over 36 months, whether AI receptionist is included or addon, and how the platform handles US/Canada cross-border seats.
Every competitor figure below is taken from the vendor’s own published pages and is listed with its source and check date at the end of this page. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, this page says so instead of estimating.
TL;DR: at a glance
- Best for teams that want 250-participant video, 1,000 shared toll-free minutes and 50+ country calling on every tier, and are willing to go through sales for a price: GoTo Connect
- Best for teams that want published per-user pricing and AI transcription inside the plan, with the AI receptionist priced separately at $59/month: DialPhone
- Critical 2026 difference: GoTo Connect publishes no prices at all. Every tier is quote-only. DialPhone publishes every business-phone tier and every contact-center tier below Enterprise, which is the difference between pricing a deployment in a spreadsheet and pricing it in a sales call.

Pricing breakdown
DialPhone
- Core ($24/user/mo, annual): unlimited US/Canada calling, SMS, HD video meetings up to 200 participants, AI live captions and transcription
- Advanced ($34, annual): adds AI SMS drafting, Proactive Workflow Automation, integrations and a HIPAA BAA
- Ultra ($54, annual): adds advanced analytics

All plans are billed annually and include a 14-day free trial with no card required. A HIPAA Business Associate Agreement is available on Advanced and higher. The AI Receptionist is a separate add-on, not part of Core, Advanced or Ultra.
GoTo Connect
GoTo Connect no longer publishes per-user prices. Its plans and pricing page lists four packages, Phone System, Customer Experience (CX), CX Complete and Contact Center, and every one of them carries a “Contact Sales” button rather than a figure. Any GoTo Connect per-seat price you see quoted elsewhere, including in older versions of this page, is not currently substantiated by GoTo’s own site.
What GoTo does publish is the feature split. Every tier includes 24/7 support, existing number porting, local, toll-free and vanity numbers, 1,000 shared toll-free minutes, international calling to 50+ countries, unlimited auto attendants, dial plans and ring groups, E911, virtual fax, call recording and video meetings for up to 250 participants.
The Customer Experience tier adds WhatsApp, social, SMS campaigns, web chat and surveys, a team inbox, enhanced reporting, AI call summaries and an attendant console. CX Complete adds advanced reporting, AI-driven dynamic routing, built-in webinars and a 24/7 virtual assistant. Shared contact limits rise from 2,000 on Phone System to 250,000 on CX and one billion on CX Complete.
AI Receptionist and Webinar are add-ons on every tier rather than included features.
The figure above counts subscription seats only, at Core annual pricing: 25 x $24 x 36 = $21,600. It excludes taxes and telecom fees, usage, hardware and add-ons such as the AI Receptionist. Model your own configuration with the VoIP TCO calculator.
Feature parity
Where GoTo Connect is the better fit
GoTo publishes a wider baseline than most: 250-participant video, 1,000 shared toll-free minutes, international calling to 50+ countries, unlimited auto attendants, dial plans and ring groups, and 24/7 support on every tier including the entry one. The AI Receptionist add-on is available on every plan rather than gated to an upper tier, and CX Complete adds built-in webinars, which DialPhone does not offer.
GoTo Connect’s limitation
No published pricing. Every tier requires a sales conversation, so you cannot compare GoTo against anything on price without entering a funnel first, and you cannot verify later that your renewal matches the market.
DialPhone’s limitation
DialPhone was founded in 2024 against GoTo’s 2006, caps video meetings at 200 participants against GoTo’s 250, and has no webinar product. Its AI receptionist costs $59 per month on top of the seat price.
Where DialPhone wins
Teams that want modern AI features (receptionist, transcription, summary) included rather than addon-priced.
When to pick GoTo Connect
Choose GoTo Connect if:
- You want 250-participant video meetings rather than DialPhone’s 200
- You want 1,000 shared toll-free minutes and 50+ country international calling on the entry tier
- You need built-in webinars, which CX Complete includes and DialPhone does not offer
- You already administer other GoTo products and want one vendor relationship
When to pick DialPhone
Choose DialPhone if:
- Teams that want modern AI features (receptionist, transcription, summary) included rather than addon-priced
- You want an AI receptionist from the same vendor as your phone system (Smart Virtual Concierge, $59/month add-on)
- You want unlimited US and Canada calling in the base plan without an enterprise agreement
- You want a contractual 99.999% monthly uptime target with service credits (Terms section 6)
- You need a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (available on Advanced and higher)
What’s NOT in the comparison
Some features that don’t differ meaningfully between the two for SMB use cases:
- Mobile apps (both have iOS/Android)
- Standard VoIP features (call forwarding, voicemail, hold music)
- Number porting (both support; timelines depend on the losing carrier, number type and documentation)
If a comparison post tells you “DialPhone has voicemail and GoTo Connect has voicemail”, yes, every vendor does. The differences that matter are above.
How we built this comparison
Competitor pricing, plan names and feature availability are taken from the vendor’s own current pricing, product, security and legal pages. Every figure used is listed with its source, publisher and check date in the Sources section of this page. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, this page says so rather than estimating one.
DialPhone figures come from the DialPhone pricing page and the Terms of Service. If you find a discrepancy, tell us and we will correct it.
Verdict
There is no automatic winner here. DialPhone fits teams that want business phone and contact center from one vendor with published per-seat pricing and an AI receptionist available as a paid add-on. GoTo Connect fits teams that match its own strengths (legacy unified comms). Price both at your real seat count against each vendor’s current pricing page before deciding.
The honest test: run both through the TCO calculator at your actual seat count + use case. Whichever lands lower for your spec is the right answer.
