  • No auto-conversion. The trial does not become a paid plan without your explicit upgrade.
  • No data hostage. Call history, recordings, and transcripts are exportable for 14 days after trial ends.
  • No cancellation fee. If you upgrade and later cancel, monthly plans cancel any time; annual plans cancel at the end of the period.

Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day trial requires only an email address and basic account info. No credit card, no invoice, no sales call. Add a payment method only if you decide to upgrade.
What happens at the end of 14 days?
If you don't upgrade, the account moves to read-only mode for another 14 days (so you can export call history and recordings). After that, the account is archived. No surprise charges — nothing charges unless you explicitly add a payment method and upgrade.
Can I extend the trial?
Yes, one 7-day extension is available on request. Contact sales@dialphone.com before day 14.
Is the trial HIPAA-covered?
No. Trial accounts are not covered by a BAA. If you need to test HIPAA workflows, contact sales for a paid pilot — BAA is signed on Advanced ($34/user/mo) and above. See the HIPAA page.
Can I test the contact center during the trial?
The trial includes full Business Phone Advanced features. Contact center (CCaaS) is a separate SKU starting at $65/user/mo — request a paid pilot via sales to evaluate CCaaS on real agent traffic.
Can I port my phone number for the trial?
Yes. Port a number for free and test with real traffic. Typical porting completes in 2-5 business days. If you choose not to upgrade, we'll port the number back at no cost.
What about international calling during trial?
International outbound is usage-based and billed at the end of the trial from the payment method you add to upgrade. If you don't upgrade, any international charges from the trial period are waived.
How do I cancel?
Simply don't upgrade. If you've already upgraded and want to cancel: monthly plans cancel any time, annual plans cancel at the end of the current period. See the Terms of Service.
