FedRAMP FAQ

Can federal agencies use DialPhone today?
Yes for some workloads. While full FedRAMP Moderate is pending (target Q4 2026), some agencies use DialPhone under agency-specific ATO processes. For SLED customers, StateRAMP Moderate is authorized.
What's the difference between FedRAMP and StateRAMP?
FedRAMP is for US federal agencies. StateRAMP is the state-and-local equivalent, reusing FedRAMP's control framework and 3PAO assessment. Both offer similar assurance; FedRAMP is specifically required for federal procurement.
When will FedRAMP Moderate be authorized?
Target Q4 2026. Agency sponsor identified, 3PAO assessment scheduled Q3 2026, package submission Q4 2026. Timelines subject to JAB/PMO schedule.
Does FedRAMP cover all DialPhone features?
The initial authorization covers core Business Phone and Contact Center. AI features reach authorization on a rolling basis. Customers with specific feature needs should coordinate with the DialPhone FedRAMP program office.
